"I REMEMBER MAMA"


May 7, 2011 -- "I Remember Mama" a 1940s themed community event honoring all of our mothers. Bring an apron to hang on the clothesline around the courthouse, with a memory of your mother written on an index card. Apron registration, $1.00 to benefit the lighting of the courthouse.

1940s-50s music and a dance from 6-8 pm in the street.

Participating vendors include:
DRESS LIKE THE 40s

APRONS will be hung around the courthouse with stories and memories of moms, present and past. (Bring your apron and $1.00 to the registration table. Proceeds go toward lighting the courthouse)

FOOD -- including Rootbeer floats, pork steaks, and more by everyone from the Relay for Life teams to the Boy Scouts.
