The play, The Miracle Worker, written by William Gibson has been highly successful both on stage and as a film. It relates the familiar teacher-pupil story of Annie Sullivan to Helen Keller. It also goes further by portraying the relationships and struggles between Annie and Helen, and those between Annie and the Keller family. This play is a vivid portrayal of the strength and courage of a young woman and a girl, and can be an encouragement to all.
